I am Christopher Bernard Thomas, the founder & managing member of Cable Broadband & Telecommunications, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Cable Broadband & Telecommunications was started in June 2005 to consult with and perform technological Integrations.
I served with the 7th Engineer Support Battalion during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. The military training I received along with the experiences I had in the Marine Corps, combined with formal education and private employment opportunities, are the foundations of my skill set. I have completed many low-voltage, vendor-neutral classes and have received many vendor-specific certifications. I also served as a CWA Job Steward with Local 3204 while working for Bellsouth Telecommunications and AT&T as a Digital Technician.
My education and experiences in the low-voltage industry have made it essential for me to provide quality services and products. With decades of low-voltage experience, I became a Georgia Unrestricted Low-Voltage License holder, and a BICSI RCDD. My commitment to the low-voltage industry and its future evolution are solid. I have served as a student, expanding my knowledge base; as a trainer and mentor sharing my knowledge with others; and as a subject matter expert consulting clients. I am adaptable, dedicated, and dependable. I will continue to expand my knowledge and be a valued member of the low-voltage community.
